201 Garrett Street
What began as a visualization project quickly grew into a feasibility study with the goal of providing a true downtown, urban-living experience through a dense, mixed-use project.
By developing a strong central axis and pedestrian plaza, the building simultaneously engages the street and interior plaza with retail space and commercial space. Above, faceted dwelling units minimize the mass of the building while creating exciting outdoor terraces and rooftop patios.
Extremely efficient, the design allows for 229 micro-units and 60,000 SF of commercial space, with relegated underground parking and a strong pedestrian connection to the downtown mall.
