Working closely with Water Street Studio, we helped visualize the proposed Riverside Village improvements, both for client communication as well as ARB review.

With concepts that sought to change typical thinking of landscape design along a busy 29 corridor, the design features natural meadow instead of planted fescue, boulders that give nod to the adjacent Rivanna River, land forms that recall Native American burial mounds (found nearby) and medicinal plantings. With a landscape that focuses on serenity and meditation, we were able to achieve Zen while helping to visualize this exciting new project.
