This project renovates and expands an existing distillery tasting room overlooking the Ragged Mountains. The addition extends from the original white clapboard structure in dark stained wood set in a herringbone pattern, grounded by a stacked stone base that steps down the sloped site. Inside, a vaulted wood ceiling runs the length of the space, framed by curved wood trusses and anchored by a stone fireplace. Black-framed glass walls open the room to a covered porch and patio beyond. A separate concrete slab extends toward the edge of the property, framed in the same dark wood and stone, marking a future covered structure. Brick paving ties the addition back to the original building, extending the site's existing material language across old and new construction.
